My Approach

The therapeutic approach I use is ‘Integrative.’ This means that I have knowledge and experience of a number of counselling approaches which I will tailor in a way that helps you best. Central to my work is the ‘Person-Centred’ approach. As a Person-Centred counsellor I believe that every individuals experience is unique. You are the expert of yourself, even though it may not feel that way at the moment. My role is not to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do, but rather to support you in exploring and understanding your story and feelings so that you may feel less overwhelmed and more able to take control of your life.
